A Post for my Mom

This is my mom, and yesterday was her birthday.

How fitting that she was born on Valentine’s Day. She personifies 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 in so many ways:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…”

After homeschooling for twenty-seven years, my mom decided to follow her dream and get her Master’s Degree at Middle Tennessee State University (where this photo was taken). Now she is becoming recertified as an occupational therapist, and I am excited to see where the Lord leads her next.

My mom is a role model for me in so many ways. She is classic and classy, thoughtful and kind, hardworking and strong. The older I get the more I appreciate her. She deserves to be recognized and celebrated every day, not just on her birthday. ❤️
