Classic Berry Banana Smoothie
I love making smoothies in the morning, after lunch, for dessert… I never get tired of them! This is one of my favorite smoothies. The Greek yogurt and berry combination tastes like a milkshake! Frozen fruit works best if you like your smoothie to have a slushy consistency. If you only have fresh fruit on hand, just throw in some ice cubes and reduce the amount of almond milk you add.
Tip: I like to keep a stash of overripe bananas in the freezer so I can make a smoothie whenever I want!
Start to finish: 5 minutes
How many: 2 servings
What you’ll need:
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 frozen banana
5 large frozen strawberries
½ cup frozen blueberries
Splash of almond milk (or milk of your choice)
What you’ll do:
Place all the ingredients in the blender and puree until smooth.
Garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.
