My Heart Behind "In the Garden"

I grew up singing and playing hymns in a small country church in the heart of Middle Tennessee. Over the years, certain hymns have become very dear to me. Steeped in scripture and rich in doctrine, each hymn has become a part of who I am. Even though they were written centuries ago, their lyrics are still powerful today.

Ever since I was thirteen, I have been making overdub recordings of myself playing versions of hymns like “Amazing Grace” on whatever stringed instrument I could get my hands on. Now, nine years later, I am thrilled to finally share my own arrangements of these beloved hymns with you. I hope they bring you as much life and joy as they have brought me.
