Trail Riding at Natchez Trace Riding Stables

Last week I went trail riding at Natchez Trace Riding Stables with my beautiful friend Ann. Here are some of my favorite moments from the trip!

The two-hour trail ride took us across fields, through creeks, and deep into mature forest. I enjoyed taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of the ride—the clink of horseshoes on rocks, the smell of leather and cedar, and the touch of chill wind across my face. Oh, how I love spending time in the saddle!

According to the owner, the ranch has Mustangs, Spotted Saddle Horses, Tennessee Walking Horses, and Paso Fino horses. I am still a horse girl at heart, and I loved getting to be back in the “horse world” again. I had a great experience at Natchez Trace Riding Stables, and I can’t wait to come back again!
