2023 Year End Review
Every year I create a list of my top books, albums, and products that I love and want to share with you. Here are my favorites from 2023!
Books
Words with God: Trading Empty, Boring Prayer for Real Connection by Addison Bevere - Rich in wisdom and steeped in scripture, this book has helped me grow in my walk with God through prayer.
A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael by Elisabeth Elliot - The inspiring and challenging true story of Amy Carmichael, an Irish Christian missionary to India, told by the one and only Elisabeth Elliot.
Soundtracks by Jon Acuff - Practical, inspiring, and hilarious. I can’t get enough of Jon’s books!
Atomic Habits by James Clear - Packed with life-changing ideas and practical wisdom, this book gave me motivation and tools to better harness my time. A must-read!
Albums
The Butterfly by Sophie Buck - My album is officially on Spotify! Go have a listen!
HAAS by Natalie Haas and Brittany Haas - Celtic fiddle and cello duets by the Haas sisters
Welcome by The Arcadian Wild - loved hearing this live in Nashville!
The Lover’s Waltz by Jay Ungar and Molly Mason - this album captures the rhythm and warmth of folk music
The Seventh Wave by Skipinnish - I was introduced to this Scottish band by my friend, Elizabeth, with Cotton and Clover. “Alive” and “The Island” are favorites!
Products
Grace Karen High-Waisted Pants with Bow - I have received so many compliments on these pants! They are lightweight, stylish, and comfortable. I have them in five colors.
Vimpunec Buffalo Plaid Poncho Shawl Wrap - I love this wrap! It’s the perfect stylish layer to elevate any fall or winter outfit, and the fabric coating is so soft.
Classic Moleskine Notebook - This journal went everywhere with me on my study abroad trip to Europe this summer. It’s just the right size to fit in a backpack or bag. I loved writing and sketching on the train rides to and from our daily excursions.
Missnine Laptop Tote Bag - So functional and stylish! This year I started carrying a bag around campus instead of a backpack. Besides adding a professional touch to any look, this bag also functions as a great travel or overnight bag.
VssoPlor Wireless Mouse - Silent, ergonomic, and chic. The look, feel, and quiet click of this mouse are so pleasing. I always keep a spare in my Missnine tote bag!
